Our Story

The journey behind Bluish Nest Art Studio.

My name is Wendy and I am the artist and founder of Bluish Nest Art Studio. I have been in the nursery print industry for over 7 years and as a parent myself, I know how important it was for me to decorate my first child’s nursery. It was the beginning of a new chapter and as part of that exciting journey, I wanted to put up a gallery of wall prints so that my baby could look at them with wonder and curiosity as they grew. It wasn’t just about having the most beautiful nursery decor, it was also about commemorating that moment in life with art.

I put a pause on my previous nursery print business Hide and Peek, for a few years when life got super busy with my two children. After losing my mother to cancer in 2024, I found myself searching for a way to navigate life's changes and it felt like now is the right time to pick up my illustration journey once again. So Bluish Nest Art Studio was born!

Where did the name come from?

The name "Bluish Nest" holds a very special meaning for me. "Bluish" is a direct and loving nod to my mother – a literal translation of her name and the beautiful foundation colour of my brand. The word "Nest" was inspired from those difficult times of grief and my home became my sanctuary, my place of comfort and security. It was my nest.

Our mission is simple: to create unique and wonderful art that brings a spark of happiness into your life and your little ones. 

Together with my husband's graphic design skills and my illustration skills, we create a diverse range of art styles and themes to suit a variety of home decor. Our goal is to become your one stop shop for nursery and wall art prints for your NEST!
